The Mustang Way
We believe we ALL can achieve our goals.
Mustangs have high expectations in everything we do. We work together to create a respectful, supportive and safe
environment.
As Mustangs, we hold ourselves and each other accountable. We are responsible for our own behavior and learning.
We encourage each other to do our best every day. Every day is a fresh start.
This is who we are. This is our Mustang Way!
Our Mission
Our mission is to prepare all students for academic and emotional high school readiness.

District Mission
The mission of Clover Park School District is to ensure each child learns what he or she needs to know to succeed
and contribute to the community.
Parent and Community Involvement
Family involvement is important to our students and staff. We have family-centered activities throughout the
school year. These include movie, game, reading and math events that focus on family fun and learning.
Mann has an active Parent Teacher Student Association and we are thankful for the contributions and support they
give to our students. Parents support our students through site council membership, at dances, field trips,
family night events and in the cafeteria selling popcorn every Friday.
Our site council, composed of staff, parents, students and community members has worked together to make Mann a
great school for learning. Our school focus is to prepare all students to be academically and emotionally ready
for high school.
School Improvement Plan
At Mann Middle School we are committed to educating all students to be lifelong collaborative learners who
demonstrate character and leadership. When students embrace these values we know they will achieve academically
and socially. We want all of our Mann students to demonstrate their best selves and best work every day they
come to school.
Our shared beliefs guide us in our behaviors and actions: words like respect, integrity, commitment, honesty,
perseverance and forgiveness have meaning for us as parents and students; they help define a normed moral and
ethical way of how we go about our daily business in our homes and as citizens in the community.>
We cultivate a culture of academic excellence through a focus on strong instruction and student accountability.
We support student learning through math and reading LAP interventions, after school reading and math
intervention and enrichment programs, and content curriculum that promotes good learning outcomes for students.
As educators, we believe ALL students can and will be successful at Mann Middle School.
