New Episodes of Superintendent Banner’s Video and Podcast Series

Clover Park School District Superintendent Ron Banner continues to bring our community into important conversations about student learning and success with new episodes of his signature video series, “Learning with Superintendent Banner,” and its companion podcast, “Real Talk with Superintendent Banner,” which gives listeners the opportunity to go deeper into conversations.
In the new episodes, Superintendent Banner, science teacher on special assignment Dan George, Dower Elementary School teacher Yasmin Shakoor Asadi and Thomas Middle School science teacher Tanner Christy explore CPSD’s continuous science pathway that guides students from initial curiosity in elementary school to specialized career interests by graduation.
Superintendent Banner and guests discuss how hands-on experiences like mechatronics labs and field studies help students bridge the gap between grade levels while building foundational inquiry skills. The conversation highlights the "blossoming" of young scientists as they learn to document their discoveries and begin to see themselves in future professional roles.
Together, these episodes reflect CPSD’s commitment to nurturing every child’s growth with purpose and preparing students to be future ready.
